Penn State Loses to Nebraska - no game ball for Cardinal JoPa - boo hoo hoo
Edited on Sat Nov-12-11 05:31 PM by jpak
my heart fucking bleeds

Oh yeah - did I mention that college football is one of the most morally corrupt enterprises in the good 'ol USA? Right up there with derivative tradin' Wall Street Douchebags.

and the NCAA is a bunch of really well paid foxes in the academic hen house?

and that big-time college football demeans and twists and everything that Academia claims it stands for (yes, grammar cops I know)

I hope people go to jail

but I don't think too many will...

yup

1. First time I've cared about the outcome of a college football game.
I hope this is the beginning of the end for that program. They need to find a better way to earn revenue--maybe they could start an online degree program for counseling victims of child sexual abuse.

3. How they were even in position to win at the end is beyond me
Nebraska led 17-0 midway through the third. If they had just ground it out, You-Know-Who would have been quietly put out of its misery, and life could have gone on. But nooooooooo! They had to come back! :puke:

4. Cardinal JoePa
wouldn't be getting the game ball, anyway. Remember? He was fired.

8. Ah, the reliable TV
All in all, it's probably good that they lost the game. Nothing to riot about when you get beaten fair and square.

9. Yup...they had some lame-ass little ceremony set to go on his lawn...
Which he would end with his famous line from Wednesday night ...."say a little prayer for those kids".

10. Here (Also on ESPN)
Paying tribute

Although there is no organized plan to honor Paterno before, during, or after the game, the players are considering a way. They have discussed a strategy to visit his home after the game, should the Nittany Lions win, and present him with the game ball. "Obviously, if there's a tribute, there's nothing I can do about that," Bradley said when asked about it Thursday.
