Bill O’Reilly’s ‘Lincoln’ book banned from Ford’s Theatre because of ‘mistakes’

Of all the places you’d expect to find Bill O’Reilly’s new history “Killing Lincoln: The Shocking Assassination That Changed America Forever,” Ford’s Theatre — the site of the dreadful act — should rank right at the top. But you’d do better to search for the bestseller on Amazon because it has been banned from the theater’s store.

The crime? O’Reilly and his co-author Martin Dugard have displayed a serial disregard for historical fact.

10. These are not "mistakes" but fabrications and lies intended for misinformation
They embarked on a propaganda project and should not be accorded any benefit of unintentional errors or mistakes.

11. I've been tempted to take a look at that one. Now I think I will.
Hey, I said look at it, not buy it.

The Lincoln assassination is probably one of the most discussed historical events ever. It would take some nerve to try to rewrite any of it and think that people would not notice. So now I want to know more about what the authors did here.
