10. Our two off-duty officers just came in...

the first one turned on his radio...did some tuning...then said, "They're gassing them right now.".

I asked, "who?".

He said, "the protesters"....and he chuckled.

I've known both of these officers for years. I am on a first name basis and I consider them good guys. I was so incensed at his reaction...I had to walk away.

Really disappointed in both of them. I think he thought I was going to chuckle with him. But I'm a professional asshole (literally) and I am judging from the way his smile quickly faded away when he saw my face in response let him know that I do not approve.

I want to tell them, "You know...who is going to stand up for you when they come for YOUR pension?".
