Huntsman
Of all the repukes onstage, only Huntsman makes any sense. Is that why the other clowns are so far ahead of him in the polls? He said we should get out of Afghanistan now and said that torture reduces our standing in the world and doesn't give accurate info. Isn't that what most of us Democrats also believe?

1. I've said before, he should either be a Democrat or an Independant. He does not
fit the Republican mold.

5. He is the most moderate and measured of the candidates.
That said, I was disappointed when he started echoing the "repeal ObamaCare" line. But he is indeed not the same sort of Republican as the others.

Buddy Roemer and Gary Johnson too are not clones of the crowd on stage, but they're polling too low to make the cut for the debate. So we get stuck with Newtles and Crazy Michele. Oy.

6. The Republicans don't want the White House right now...
they would prefer to wait until the economy is doing well. That gives them a better opportunity to make their changes to the social contract.

They are ignoring their best candidate. They don't really want it.

10. I agree
They have NO plan on how to get out of this mess that Bush, and the republicans in congress, got us into. That's why we see the "MORONS" at the top and anyone who makes sense is ignored. I really think they are going to put more time and money into the congressional races because they HOPE they can win enough seats to keep on stopping the president from doing anything that might actually help this country!

11. That's got to be true, whoever they nominate can't run in four years when he loses in 2012.

15. And, in the meantime, they get to suck up the media's time...
and keep the masses distracted from the real issues by presenting a really awesome side show.

9. not being insane is a pretty low standard, he was an ambassador and understands
foreign policy, that is why he sounds like a Democrat on these particular issues.

the guy is still a conservative on economic and social issues
