Is anyone else disgusted with the Huckabee tv ads
aimed at repeal of President Obama's health care bill?

I am!! I just sent an email to TNT complaining and requesting that they pull these offensive ads. I'd urge everyone else to do the same. TNT's email form is here:
http://support.tnt.tv/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=5477

Not sure what other stations may be carrying these despicable commercials, but I'd email them as well if you happen to run across them.

Here's my message to TNT and I meant every word of it:

I urge you to pull those despicable adverts featuring Mike Huckabee and his efforts to take away our health care. I have stopped watching your station to avoid these ads and this may well be the final catalyst to dropping directv altogether and relying on netflix for video viewing.

1. I became so infuriated
with all the right-wing advertisements that I actually canceled my satellite television a week ago. Gonna cost me a pretty penny, but worth my peace of mind. I feel so much better for it.

If I watched another values.com advertisement, another "My Marriage Matters" spot, or any of the other pithy commercial designed to take us back to the 1950s... well... :puke:

15. Damn. I haven't seen a singe one of those ads, or the Huckabee crap. We don't watch MSNBC or TNT
so I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not? We watch CNN, Discovery, History, and a smattering each of ABC (local news and 2 1/2 men), ESPN during football season and NatGeo.

And we have Charter, but they suck so I doubt if that's the deal breaker.

7. If they have a 1-800 number
call in and ask them to transfer you to your congresscritter. Then you can tell them not to repeal the law (or better yet, to strengthen it with a public option or single payer?) on Huckabee's dime.

Lather, rinse, repeat.

5. When I hear that advertisement I mentally dub in
"Patriot Act" for health care reform. Then everything he's saying is true.

12. Do you know they're ads on TNT?
Or are they possibly ads inserted by you cable company?

Also, do you want TNT (or your cable company) blocking ads from progressive causes? Unless you're aware of a blatant attempt to limit advertising to one ideology, I wouldn't advocate censorship, however annoying they are.

16. No cable. It's directv and their only ads are for programs on other channels.
I haven't seen any progressive ads on TNT.

14. the solution to not seeing the ads is to have a DVR. When the ad starts, pause the DVR and make

yourself a sammich and a tasty beverage. Alternately, enjoy a smoke or use the restroom. When you return to your television, fast forward through the Huckster's offensive ad.
