Occupy D.C. on a monumental scale
We need a million people in D.C. We need to "Occupy" until the Bush tax cuts are gone. We'll go when the tax cuts go. No negotiating. This travesty needs to end now. Listen to your people or suffer their wrath! We ARE AMERICA! We outnumber you 99 to 1. WE ARE THE 99%, and we will succeed. This is just the beginning, and I assure you there will be an end. How civil it remains is up to congress. Change the tax code now to equalize American wealth or watch history take you down. The ball is in your court, but we are the referees. Remember that.

1. I think next spring and summer we are going to be in for one hell of a ride.
I am quite sure, at least I hope, that politicians individually and collectively begin to feel the heat.

It's the next natural step to take, imho.

2. Hear, hear. What do you want to bet that as cold weather comes and
our fearless occupiers are forced to work with reduced numbers, the MSM will laugh and call it
a fading fad? I, for one, CANNOT WAIT to hear them backpedal next spring and summer! It's going
to be bigger, badder, better and more glorious than before.

3. Marches are converging on DC for the 11/23 supercommittee deadline
They're small so far, but the symbolism is potent, in part because because going places on foot these days is just so physically grueling that it demonstrates a high level of dedication.

There's one march of a few dozen people that set off walkiing from Zuccotti Park on Wednesday. They spent last night at Bristol Friends Meeting and are scheduled to reach Occupy Philadelphia this evening and lay over there for a day before heading off for the long haul through Delaware and Maryland.

And there are announcements out from Occupy Richmond, asking for people from all over the South to join them in Virginia and start for DC this Wednesday.

People have been coming by to show support for the New York marchers all along their route, with only a handful of hecklers. Here's one photo they posted this morning of a guy who brought them doughnuts and then simply handed them all of the cash from his wallet.
