So the Albany police lose their good standing?
— In Albany, N.Y., police arrested 24 Occupy Albany protesters after they defied an 11 p.m. curfew in a state-owned park. State police officials hauled away the protesters after warning them with megaphones that they were breaking the law in Lafayette Park. They were charged with trespassing.

2. When did curfews take effect in this country? I didn't even know they existed until the Occupy
movement.

4. Most parks have curfews in my area. It was the noise factor for the
neighbors.

8. I don't understand the laws in this country. I really don't. From loitering laws, to shutting down
parks, to prohibiting the Constitutional right of free assembly.

9. They are allowed, without permit, to assemble and camp across the street...
This was on the Capital Plaza at Lafayette Square on state-owned property which they have stated all along they would enforce the curfew.

I support what they did, I'm just giving the supporting details behind the arrest.

10. Albany police haven't arrested any protesters.
From what I understand there are two parks next to each other. One is
on Albany city property and the other is NY state property. Albany police
have made no arrests. The state police arrested protesters that were on the
state owned side of the property.
