Occupy Portland... some thoughts of this...
First they are exhausted. I can tell from the stream... so bravo men and women of Occupy.

But, this were an amazing set of hours, a day that will enter history. Yes, the cops in the end managed to get rid of the tents, but they did not break the spirit of the occupation Also we may have seen the first use of jammers in the occupation, IF THAT TURNS TO BE TRUE, we have entered the next stage for power to resist the frontal attack of what they now see as an open insurgency.

Realize the people responded... realize the cops had to wait until crowds thinned out (and for that we should all be thankful). But the people responded. There are more and more signs that this is moving into the next stage of the movement. I'd hazard to say that this is accelerating... I'd also hazard to say that when the super committee tells us what we have already heard... even more people will join. The anger is just building. And then is when things will get interesting at a dynamic level. The powerful KNOW that if they show weakness... that's over. The Occupiers understand the same. So we are quickly moving to that point in this drama.

14. Oregonians have an attitude about stoopid authority. Portland

is a kick butt town. There is a new england sensibility about the north of Oregon. My grandma and grandpa would be there slapping the cops in the chops.

18. "Anger" just causes more distress. In order to make a peaceful world, one must get along with others
If you only have "Anger" to display.. Then you'll never make peace, or really get anywhere. You'll only cause distress.
Happiness is the key to a better life, and a better tomorrow.....

19. That somehow doesn't work too well with psychopaths, and GOPers are often psychopaths

I would love to sing kumbaya with the entire world, but the world just doesn't work that way. There are some truly mean, evil people out there that take particular pleasure in hurting the weakest, most helpless, most needy, and I will not stand for that.

I agree that one must give peace a chance and all those lyrics of all those songs, but using only peaceful techniques only gets interpreted by the psychos as a sign of weakness, and that's when they plot and plan to destroy. These are the people that, as kids, pulled the wings off flies and performed 'surgeries' on stray cats.

And let's not forget: All it takes for evil to succeed, is for good men to do nothing.

3. If you are an agent of the state
by definition you cannot be an insurgent.

4. Did Anyone Just Hear Them Talking About DU & The Support From Here?
I was away for a little while, have had live stream on on and off all day. Came back and just heard them talking about DU?

Was that mentioned earlier or just now?

6. What do you predict?
Re the next moves from the PTB.

Escalating tactics from law enforcement? Wag the dog-type distractions?

7. As I said yesterday
since social media IS the weapon... I will not be shocked to find myself with no access to the web. That is like a normal response to disarm the movement.

9. I have wondered about that.
Not so much a general blackout, but targeted disruption/hacking.

11. So far I think the PTB are pretty flustered.
So many different tactics have been tried and nothing seems to slow OWS down.

this critter... sadly if they ignored it in the beginning... this would not have grown to where it is.

I knew that was the case but they did not get it
