FL Governor Scott Announces Single Prayer Health Care Plan |
|
www.newsyouwontbelieve.com
January 19, 2011 - Tampa: Florida Governor Rick Scott today announced a new health care plan for low income and middle class Floridians. The new Single Prayer Health Care Plan, to be introduced to the legislature within weeks, will cut health insurance costs to the bone and provide zero-premium coverage to Florida residents with incomes under $50,000/year. Governor Scott said, in his announcement, "This is the solution Florida has been seeking. Health care costs are crippling the state, and our Single Prayer Health Care Plan will eliminate all costs associated with health care. Neither the state nor those covered by this plan will pay a penny for health care under the Single Prayer system. We're God-fearing people in Florida, and we know that God will see to it that the health care needs of Floridians are in good hands."
When asked about care options for atheists and non-Christian Florida residents, Governor Scott said, "Well, I'm not actually sure that such people need to be residents in this state, but anyone can become a Christian and be fully-covered by Single Prayer Health Care. I suppose it's up to each individual. I'd refer them to John 3:16."
Passage of this plan is assured, offered Governor Scott, since the legislature is now under the control of "responsible Christians." Details of the Single Prayer plan will be announced officially tomorrow.

I'm disappointed about the "no free unch" thing, though.

9. That's a very funny & scary made up story! ha. As these repub leaders mostly do not behave like any |
|
of the kind and loving Christians I associate with, which leads me to think they're just using religion for power or are 'fundamentalists. Of course, when I see people who say they are Godly turn around and disparage the homeless and poor with calls for drug-testing on those who receive aid, nothing like this made up story would shock me!

14. That's the preventative prayer. |
|
If you get sick anyway, there's another prayer for that. "Please make me well. Amen." Simple, huh?

I thought he was gonna pay for all of us out of his bonus for keeping his mouth shut while HCA paid that 1.7 Billion Dollar fine (and they didn't even miss it) along with the 300 million severance package he got.
how the hell did this man get elected to the governorship of the state I live in?????? Jeeeeezzzzzz, anyone that steals a loaf of bread to feed their family will get at least 30 days and 2 year probation with fines and fees to go along with it here.
