I am not a donor and I don't have the extra change to be one, unfortunately. I am thankful to have this site available to me to participate in and share ideas with you folks. I am also thankful to those of you who have the means and contribute to keep this site up and going.

This site has become like a family of sorts for me over the years. A place to get information, share concerns, argue, and laugh. That's what a family is all about, right? If in the future I am able to make a donation, I will happily do so.

And, as a non-donor, I will not share my opinion on donation fees for the simple reason that it does not directly effect me or my ability to post here. I also do not feel like I'm treated any differently than those with stars.

Thank you Skinner and DU for providing this site!!!

never paid the $5.00 TotalFark fee because it's not something I want to pay $5.00 a month for. I guess I don't get the "shame" felt by some who can't or choose not to pay, who really cares?

10. I share your sentiments

I've been hanging around here since 2003. I've contributed over the years but it does get tough with a zero income budget. This is only one site I go to for information on what's going on in the world but it's always been one of the best.
I can't thank those that organize, moderate and support this forum enough. I might only be a drive by poster but the information I'm exposed to here is invaluable.
