I missed the beginning, but he confirms that he and Sharon spent time together with Herman Cain. He also confirms that Sharon was upset after her dinner with Cain, and said he acted inappropriately, but that she had handled it.

When these new allegations came out, the doctor called Sharon to see what she thought about them, since he remembered what had happened to her. He suggested she contact Gloria Allred.

At the end of his statement, he said that he wanted to get ahead of the press, so he offered information about his decades as a pediatrician (with no malpractice claims or lawsuits), and about the financial issues that led to his closing his practice and filing for reorganization under bankruptcy laws. He is now working for a medical organization that provides care to lower income clients.

A good man. Cain's people, of course, will now try to trash him, too.

I have NO doubt the Cain campaign team and his supporters are desperately scrambling to discredit this man, they will fail....again.

I sure would like to know who the Cain disruptor was. He refused to identify which news media outlet he was from and it seemed he was not from any of them. He kept asking questions to Ms. Allred that had NO connection to the reason for the press conference.

Did you see the movie "Canadian Bacon," where they attempt to break into the Canadian power grid and find that the whole thing is run by a nice old couple in rocking chairs? I expect that Cain's "campaign team" is kind of like that -- only meaner -- and smaller.
