Anti-tax zealot Grover Norquist is coming under increasing criticism lately. It couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.

The public is waking up to the fact that the no-new-taxes-of-any-kind pledge Norquist has pressured so many Republicans into signing could stop Congress’ super committee from cutting a deal to reduce deficits. All six GOP members on the panel have signed the ultimatum.

Super committee Democrats are insisting on a deal that includes increased tax revenue along with decreased spending. But Norquist’s pledge commits signers to opposing any additional revenue – even from closing economically indefensible special-interest loopholes, like tax subsidies for ethanol producers — unless it is offset by a tax cut.

Abramoff lamented to MSNBC about critics trying to turn Norquist into a “boogie man.” “I think Grover wants to keep them to their pledge,” he said. “I don’t know how somehow that can be a bad thing.”

Wingnut Anti-Tax Hero Grover Norquist Actually Muslim Extremist?

It was a long, long reign of terror. But slowly, and at long last, real conservatives are coming to understand the true identity of anti-tax Republican hero Grover H. Norquist: He’s a dangerous Muslim extremist! Important wingnut Internet Newspaper World Net Daily broke the news about the right-wing heartthrob, and now teabaggers nationwide are expected to quit supporting Norquist’s anti-tax policies and probably join the #Occupy Wall Streeters …. anything to avoid the creeping Shariah that is always creeping up the wingnuts’ legs and making them feel all tingly.

World Net Daily’s editor solemnly writes:

In the past, I have spent some time explaining that Norquist represents the gravitational center of an effort at Muslim Brotherhood infiltration of the conservative movement and politics in America more generally — especially Republican politics. <...>

I say this not only because of his decidedly Shariah-friendly activities and associations.

I say it not only because of his decision to bless GOProud, a faux conservative group promoting the homosexual agenda to Republicans.

Ah could it possibly be that the pledge they took to defend the constitution and the country against all enemies, foreign and domestic, supercedes his Norquist's stupid pledge.

To say nothing of protecting the interests of their constituents first and foresmost.

Who elected Norquist to oversee Congress? Such BS.
