Reporter eats the worlds hottest chilli on camera

Local radio station WFAE's Marshall Terry munched on the pepper, grown by Ed Currie in South Carolina, while reporting on Mr Currie's plans to get it certified as the hottest in the world.

Mr Terry appears casual as he eats the pepper at the start of the video but before long he is sweating, vomiting, jerking and hunched on the floor saying, "I think the hallucinations are kicking in."

Mr Currie, who also ate the chilli, sits calmly nearby.

4. The way to eat chile is to not use your tongue to move the food like you do

in normal chewing. Normally for every time you chew down with your molars you use the tip of the tongue to move the food back under the molars. If you don't do this while eating the hot peppers you'll get the taste without the burn.

Also don't drink water to fight the burn. Drink milk or eat ice cream and let it sit on your tongue.
