The sirens started going off and I said to my husband (who is in Oklahoma)- "Babe, gotta go, there's a tornado." It truly was like an Oklahoma spring night. How bizarre. Very very wild weather.

13. November on course for being warmest since records began
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/topics/weather/8887016/November-on-course-for-being-warmest-since-records-began.html

Britain is on course for the warmest November since records began 353 years ago, according to forecasters, after a balmy 65F (18C ) weekend with some of the highest temperatures ever recorded just six weeks from Christmas.

Sussex was hotter than Syria and Cardigan, Wales, was warmer than Corfu and the average temperature for the first half of this month remarkably matches temperatures normally seen in May.

With many enjoying golden autumn weekend sunshine, the Met Office said the west and south were nudging a freak 18C again on Sunday, after Saturday’s temperatures hit 17.8C at Wiggonholt, West Sussex.

In London, publicans reopened beer gardens when they would normally be erecting Christmas decorations. Many bars had packed outdoor seating areas.

23. It was 50 today in Minneapolis, hit 64 on Saturday. Low 40's is normal this time of year.
Also, we've only seen a few nights below freezing this season. That's definitely a change from the norm.

Folks, we done messed up something fierce!

30. Thanks all...it's good to hear weather news from DU'ers who are all over the place.
I can't get national weather much from the "Weather Channel" since Comcast bought it out. It's just
"Storm Stories and Rescues" that go on all day and all night with just a teeny bit of weather national thrown in..without much background.

Good to hear from all of you about this strange weather we've been having for awhile now.

I remember it well. I was in 10th Grade and Nov. 16th was the first day of Swim team practice at 6am in the morning. I was waiting for my Cousin (who was also on the team) to pick me up in our car pool. It was 17 degrees Fahrenheit. It was bloody cold!
