How can you have the mess we have in New Orleans, and not have had deep investigations of the federal government, the state government, the city government, and the failure of citizenship in the Ninth Ward, where 22,000 people were so uneducated and so unprepared, they literally couldn't get out of the way of a hurricane.

3. Only the morally challenged would feel that way. It costs a nice sum of money to travel

out of state to find a motel/hotel vacancy. Those who couldn't afford to travel were given refuge in the Superdome & the Convention Center by the gracious city government.

The blame is on the Corps of Engineers' shoddy levee work that created the flood. And let's have an honest-to-goodness investigation on Bush's bullying of Gov. Kathleen Blanco in his sorry attempt to manipulate public perception against her because she's a Democrat.

Newt is condoning the attitude of the most partisan pResident of our lifetime.
