Wow, I am proud to say I was not embarrassed by any of the 2008 Democratic nominees! |
|
I have not found ONE of my GOP "friends" who can say the same thing. All of them agree one or more of their candidates are a joke and should not be elected.
What a mess this country is in.

Not so much at the time, but excruciatingly embarrassing in retrospect. And may well end up in prison for using campaign contributions to cover up his sordid little secrets.

4. I agree he became an embarrassment |
|
But at least he had a cause that someone with better scruples should take up, and he could remember it enough to speak about it at debates unlike what we're seeing now. He was a smart guy who did dumb things, the gop has dumb guys & gal ready to do the bidding of corporations.

5. If he ends up in prison that will be a travesty |
|
Say what you will about his personal life, and rightly so, but that prosecution is a convoluted mess brought by a Bush holdover US Attorney.

6. I was not and still am not embarrased by the candidate |

who talked with passion about the poverty, severe inequality, and the power and influence of corporate lobbyists on every policy issue.

7. while cheating on his cancer-stricken wife with some floozy, |
|
having a child by her, and spending the hard-earned campaign contributions from DUers and others in a pathetic attempt to cover it all up. Oh, and risking throwing the election to McCain if he had become the Democratic candidate and his secrets were revealed prior to the election.

8. The 2008 Democratic field was an embarassment of riches... |

The 2012 Republican field is just an embarassment.
