Sparkly never caught this and she's very attuned to this sort of thing. I caught it as one might catch a wrong note in a classical music performance.

In the story about Congressional insider trading and criminality, they reported on trades by John Boner. They then reported on trades by Nancy Pelosi *and her husband*. In separate press conference questions to each of them, they asked Boner about his trading, never mentioning his wife. In the similar clips of their guy at Pelosi's presser, he asked about trades by she or her husband.

3. Bonehead's wife isn't a high powered businessperson, Pelosi's husband is.
Bonehead's wife sells a little real estate and works at a garden center.

It's not the same thing, and nothing to do with gender.

If Bonehead's wife was a corporate CEO, and Nancy's husband sold a little real estate and petunias, the questions would have been reversed.

4. Stepford wives are not programmed to trade stocks
What kind of woman do you think Boner would marry?
