Sandusky: It Was 'Horseplay'
good god almighty....

slap this fucker in jail N O W

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

The former assistant football coach at Pennsylvania State University who was indicted on charges he sexually abused eight boys over a 15-year period said late Monday he had showered with the kids and hugged them but that he was innocent.

"I am innocent of the charges. I could say that I have done some of those things," said the coach, Jerry Sandusky, in an interview by telephone with NBC's Bob Costas. "I have horsed around with kids, I have showered after workouts. I have hugged them and I have touched their legs without intent of sexual contact."

He added: "I shouldn't have showered with those kids."

On one alleged incident in 2002, which was subsequently described as a sexual assault in a grand-jury report, Mr. Sandusky said: "We were showering and horsing around and he turned all the showers on and was sliding across the floor, and we were possibly snapping a towel in horseplay."

Funny thing, I've never seen a horse playing around, screwing a younger horse up the ass in a shower.

10. "The bottom line is, jocks do stuff like that'

these were KIDS not fucking jocks....looks like the lawyer is as sleazy as the client.

+++++++++++++++++++

In another interview, Mr. Sandusky's attorney, Joseph Amendola, said he planned to contend Mr. Sandusky "is a big overgrown kid" and was "horsing around" in the alleged incidents outlined nine days earlier in the grand-jury report. Mr. Sandusky, 67 years old, faces 21 felony counts of sexually abusing boys he met through the children's charity he founded, the Second Mile.

"The bottom line is, jocks do stuff like that," said Mr. Amendola, who is based in State College, Pa., in an interview with CNN late Monday. "When you take it apart complaint by complaint, we have answers for" each of the eight allegations listed in the grand-jury document.

6. Don't let this pedophile's denials worry you -
There must be strong case or the Grand Jury wouldn't have returned the indictment.

"Horseplay" - yeah that was the same story he tried to use with the abused kids.

12. Are you sure about grand juries? I've often heard and\or read
that grand juries will pretty much rubber stamp a D.A.'s allegations with an indictment.

I'm not saying you're wrong about this, just that I'm not sure that a grand jury indictment necessarily indicates a 'strong case.'

7. Towel Snapping Horseplay
Defense attorneys need to persuade only one juror of reasonable doubt. That's how the legal system works, and we don't make exceptions in heinous cases.

15. the grand jury heard enough to charge him with 21 felony counts of sexual abuse of boys
that in no way makes him guilty of the crimes......

but the eyewitness to anal/oral sex could make his defense difficult

9. Oh, I have NO doubt the Prosecution is taking meticulous notes along with...
taping everything Sandusky is saying on this and I hope Sandusky keeps talking, he is not doing himself any favors. Sandusky's lawyer must be a real winner to allow his client to hang himself like this, imo.

Had to Google that one and, sure enough:
http://gawker.com/5859512/jerry-sandusky-is-not-a-pedophile-according-to-jerry-sandusky

He was 49 at the time and the girl was his CLIENT at age 16 when they became involved (technically just at the age of consent, but still :puke:)

28. I find it hard to believe that his lawyer told him that it was an ideal thing to do
it speaks volumes about Sandusky's arrogance, though.

Maybe it's the mentality with sports types, I don't know...they think they can get away with anything. I know nothing about their world, but it appears that way.

Amendola is giving similar quotes of his own to the press:
In another interview, Mr. Sandusky's attorney, Joseph Amendola, said he planned to contend Mr. Sandusky "is a big overgrown kid" and was "horsing around" in the alleged incidents outlined nine days earlier in the grand-jury report. Maybe they think they'll actually convince some people that it's normal coach-child player behavior to wrestle nude in the showers, but I doubt it.

Speaking of the jury pool, I sure hope they plan to move the trial out of State College. Can't see how you'd be able to get twelve impartial people there.

23. Shouldn't his attorney have told him to sit down and shut up right about the time
the grand jury returned that indictment??

Just curious.

Maybe he thinks he can play it like OJ did.

29. His inane attempts at whitewash may piss off victim #9 and victim #10
to the point where they decide to speak up, even if they didn't come forward earlier. It sounds like neither the suspect nor his attorney is all that bright. Both of them seem to be suffering from terminal hubris, on top of their other dysfunctions.
