Jerry Sandusky claims he's not a pedophile, but also admits showering with young boys ... in his first interview since the Penn State scandal broke.

Sandusky talked to Bob Costas, and admitted ... "I have horsed around with kids. I have showered after workouts. I have hugged them and I have touched their legs without intent of sexual contact."

During the interview, which airs tonight on NBC's "Rock Center" ... Sandusky claims he is innocent ... and concedes, "I shouldn't have showered with those kids."

Excuse me, WHY would he be touching their legs? What possible reason could he have for that, other than "sexual conact"?

when you hug a kid, you hug them. you don't pat them on the leg. You might pat them on the back, on the shoulder, high five with hands, but touching their legs???

And horsing around in the shower? Cripe, I remember in junior high (1959-1962) we were told horsing around in the showers was DANGEROUS and absolutely forbidden, you know with all that slippery tile and hard surfaces and everything. Not that we junior high girls were much into horsing around in showers, but we got the warning anyway.

But there is no reason for Sandusky to have been touching anyone's legs, and just the fact that he talks about it suggests to me that he did it and he did not do innocently.
