He told every joke you could think of in the first week... we had nothing. He was a gas around Christmas. Buddhist Santa! HO HO HO!!

I adored him. Not just because he had a delicious sense of humor, but because he was a terrific teacher. I don't think I would have passed algebra without him... I would have grown bored quickly. He gave us real reasons to use algebra. Plus, he was a slide-rule wizard!
