Our own government has declared war on its people. Oh wait...it's another of those undeclared wars. Like that ever fooled anyone.

5. It is not war.

It is a case of people occupying PRIVATE PROPERTY and the owners of the private property exerting their property rights.

The protesters were given legal notice to disburse.

I am sad that they are being made to leave - but it is PRIVATE property.

Perhaps the protesters should move their camp over to PUBLIC property.

10. It's a "privately owned public space."

While the park is privately owned, it is required to be open to the public 24 hours a day. This arrangement was part of an agreement between the city and developers. Calling it "private property" is somewhat misleading.
