Can we call the cops class-traitors yet? |
|
Edited on Tue Nov-15-11 06:30 AM by backscatter712
Oh no, we've got to be nice to them. Why they're serving and protecting us! They're enforcing health and safety regulations by putting protesters in the hospital!
But we're still required to lionize them! They're all heroes! Heroically attacking senior citizens and children! Heroically smashing the faces of the homeless! Heroically destroying our Constitutional rights! Heroically planting drugs on innocent people to jail them! They're fucking heroes!

1. Those of us who lived through the 60s aren't a bit surprised |
|
We called them pigs then. Then we were demonized for the next 40 years as part of the 'excesses' of the 60s. Funny how history repeats itself.

is 20:80 or 80:20. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pareto_principleI'm still not sure of the background to 99%, 1% whatever but remain bemused by the amazing coincidence that the figure seems to apply equally to all countries across the world.

8. They always have been. |
|
Nothing is different now. The majority of cops are just goons with guns, badges and the power of life or death over their fellow citizens. Like good Germans, they follow the orders their masters give them in return for petty rewards.

9. "A worker in service to the capitalist system.......... |
|
is not a worker, but is a bourgeoisie cop." Leon Trotsky quote.
It depends on whose side they're on. If they're busting protester's heads and macing them, they're class traitors. Unfortunately, it seems most of them fit that bill.
