Bloomberg and his Black shirts treated OWS like a mob |

and there was no one there to speak for them...........a time comes when those who wish to accomplish what has not been accomplished needs a single voice to speak for them yet OWS has resisted leadership, hence, they were simply hosed from their peaceful occupation by the 1% whom they loathe.
Find a leader who will speak to the media, not mic checks or incoherent ranting. Otherwise they will simply be a blip on the morning news....who went on the morning shows to speak for them? Continue to think that other than constant police actions, something will be accomplished.
If you want a comparison, just think Crystal Lee Sutton and what she accomplished for thr Labor movement, a movement that had no voice at JP Stevens in the '70s.
I'm sure you all think that the 1% will do everything in their power to listen to your demands without leadership........... and just ignore this thread until it falls off the front page since in the end, all you want is wait, you don't know what you want........
Just my opinion.

1. I disagree with you strongly, DainBramaged. |

The strength of OWS is the diffusion of authority. The Mikecheck is the strongest crowd self-control device that has been conceived in the history of political activism.
