Martha Stewart went to jail
For maybe lying to an FBI agent. She felt the full force of the Federal Government while Wall Street and the Big Banks stole the wealth of America.
We should remember how fucked up the whole thing is, and I think her case is emblematic of that.
I would like to blame it all on the Bush Administration, but Obama seems to have no intention of changing this. No one gets held accountable.

AND FUCK YOU BLOOMBERG!!!

2. She is incredibly successful.
They had to make an example of her.

3. Scapegoat, that is what they made her, not example to others
but substitute for the real criminals.

4. I think they had to make
a show trial of taking down some one who was high profile while not really part of the kleptogracy.

6. The real message of jailing Martha Stewart
was to tell American Women: No matter how successful you are...No matter how much money you have...No matter if you have your own television show...No matter how many of the masses like you, the FBI can put you in your place....and that place is PRISON.

So don't believe for you second that you can EVER be powerful enough to get out from under the thumb of patriarchy.

Martha Stewart was a successful businesswoman...and patriarchy doesn't like that. Business is for men....even if that business involves 'cooking.'

Women feel the power of patriarchy everyday damn day.

I wasn't a fan of Martha until 'da man' decided to fuck with her. I saw what they did to her....made me sick. But she took her medicine like a strong woman...'OK, let's get it over with. Put me in jail now.'

I bet on Wall Street, there are at least 10 men/day who lie to the FBI. I can't remember any dude being jailed for lying to the FBI...NOT UNDER OATH. Can you?

5. Commons sense no longer has a place in this country
What we all know to be right morally and legally no longer gets treated as such.

We are so fucked up as a nation.
