1. tip of the iceberg.
we're talking about a man who created a charity that supplied him with an almost endless stream of helpless boys.

2. That talk with Bob Costas
was digging the hole deaper, IMO, with the creepy shovel. Surely no lawyer advised him to talk to the media?

4. it just another example of how fucking detached and sheltered these wealthy motherfuckers are
he thought a good ol' post game wrap-up with Costas would clear the air.......

i hope his heart explodes from the stress.....

or maybe that would be too merciful..........

7. If he dies, no trial..
This needs to go to trial..

The whole truth will have no chance otherwise.

3. The guy is a dead ringer for a Social Studies teacher I had in 8th grade.
He would use "test/quiz" time to wander up and down the aisles so we wouldn't cheat, but it was blatantly obvious to everyone that all he was doing was trying to cop a shot down the girls' shirts. We all knew it. I doubt he ever did anything illegal or immoral, well, other than copping a look, but the class was just fucking boring.

9. He "doesn't recall" some stuff--he uses the passive-aggressive technique when
queried by Costas as to why the witnesses would make stuff up ("you'd have to ask them that")--he uses the old chestnut "we were just fooling around" about some of his activities...The guy should get life in prison. And his lawyer is already laying the groundwork to disregard victims' testimony.

11. Of course we knew this would happen. He's probably been doing this since the late 70s.
There could be potentially hundreds of victims; at the very least dozens that he definitively abused.

As the number of victims coming forward increases, more of those Sandusky abused will feel safe to come forward.

People don't just get struck with pedophilia at middle age, it's not menopause. He's probably been doing this a very long time. I wonder if any of his kids know more than they're telling?

his own childhood. according to internet sources, his parents ran some sort of public gym when he was around 10 years old, which would most likely have exposed him to showering men. hmmmm......
