When a school or college loses accreditation, nobody worries about the students |
So why is everyone asking, "What about the students?" when it comes to PSU's football season being canceled?

1. Because it's a convenient facade behind which to hide defense of a corrupt system. |
And what students would be hurt by penalties for the football program? Student athletes, right? Well, they SHOULD be allowed to go to other programs without waiting out a year, or retain their scholarships if they stay at PSU, even if there is no football to play. Student fans? Well, basketball season has started.

2. Nobody's suggesting shutting down Penn State's academic programs. |
Most people don't know, but Penn State also has these things called "classes" where students can go and learn stuff and get advanced degrees.
Maybe Penn State should focus on academics for a year instead of football. It's clear they had their priorities clear out of whack when they were putting winning football games ahead of stopping child rape.
