18. The REAL cause was that they were planning to shut down Wall St Thursday.
Occupy’ protesters hope to shut down Wall Street with street carnival,

NEW YORK (Reuters) – Protesters hope to shut down Wall Street on Thursday by holding a street carnival to mark the two-month anniversary of their campaign against economic inequality.

Protest organizers acknowledged that the “day of action” they have planned could be the group’s most provocative most yet, and could lead to mass arrests and further strain relations with city authorities.

4. And other makeshift weapons such as metal pipes in cardboard tubes.
http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/45299622/ns/today-today_news/t/occupy-protesters-arrested-police-clear-new-york-camp/

A hearing on the temporary restraining order, filed by a New York City judge, was delayed, but the city filed court papers opposing the order and claiming that giving protesters free rein over the park would cause unsafe and unsanitary conditions. They also claimed occupiers were stockpiling makeshift weapons including metal-pipes inside cardboard tubes.

7. Is that somehow illegal?
Since when is being in possession of plumbing material a crime?

21. Legality depends upon the situation.
Since there isn't any plumbing at the OWS site, and since you would not have other plumbing tools and equipment, then your pipe would be classified as a weapon.

9. Yet the Tea Party members were allowed to carry assault
weapons around the POTUS!?!?! So, when people protest...they are stockpiling weapons! When batshit crazy people gather and show a clear and present danger...their 'leaders' get an interview on Foxnews!!!

FUCK we have our priorities messed up in this country!
