Wow. Totally floored and taken by surprise. A STAR!
I want to thank the person who gave me a Donor Star. I don't cry easily but am tearing up right now.
I had planed to give something and still will to pay it forward. I am just moved.
You see, my Wheaten may be dying and according to my Vet, he hasn't long unless a miracle. We have spent all the money I have raised doing small projects to help him. We have really one retiree income. Not a lot either.
I feel that DU has been a place of learning, friendship and support... especially during the last election when I thought I would have to flee to another Country somehow. With pets in tow, that would be an amazing feat.
Whoever you are, you are amazing. Thank you thank you thank you!
I am good to my word... this is paying forward!

1. If the end is near, I hope your furry pal goes peacefully and
painlessly.

(I wasn't the one who got you your well-deserved star, though.)

6. Thank you. He did today. Vet helped but he had a seizure and was lost to us already.

2. Safe passage for your Wheaton
and enjoy your star (wasn't me either though I have given out a few this week - I'm sure others are doing the same while they're only $5)

3. Take a look at this thread:

I know what you're going through. One of my guys is really ill and I'm trying hard to squeeze this turnip to get her to the vet's. Nothing like a daily challenge.

5. sorry to hear about your doggy boy
It's been almost three years since I had to have my big baby girl put down (cancer returned with a vengeance), so I know it's so hard to see them hurting.

One day you'll be able to pay it forward and give something, so enjoy your star!

10. Truman had cancer, enlarged heart, etc.... he was about 13. He barely
needed a sedative but we kept him here at home as long as possible. We miss him. Sad day here. Vet said a very easy transition as he was ready. Never seems comforting to hear but I guess all in all he could have had a worse scenario. So I guess it is somewhat ok.

11. Sorry about your beloved pet.
It is hard to let go, as I well know. Have strength.
