Lebanese MPs almost come to blows over Syria on live TV
The two politicians were Mustafa Alloush, seen with a blue tie a bald former MP and who is aligned with the anti-Syrian movement led by former Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri and the moustached Fayez Shukor, who was wearing a red tie the leader of the Lebanon branch of the ruling Ba’ath party in Syria.

The tension between Alloush and Shukor turned physical when Alloush described President Bashar al-Assad as a ''liar'' and Shukor shot back telling him: ''Your boss is a liar'' referring to Hariri, who was forced out of government in January.

The two men then proceeded to hurl insults at each other. A glass of water was thrown and a chair was held up in the air while the presenter tried to intervene to stop the two from fist fighting – all broadcast live on the show entitled With Objectivity.

1. Erdogan warns Assad: Syria government is on a 'knife-edge'
I'm starting to think Little Assad is next.

Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday warned Syrian President Bashar Assad his government was on a "knife-edge" and demanded an immediate apology after attacks on Turkey's diplomatic missions in Syria.

Meanwhile, also on Tuesday, Russia urged opponents of Assad to hold talks with the government, hoping to secure a peaceful resolution to months of violence without abandoning its support for the isolated leader.

"Nobody now expects the (Syrian) people's demands to be met. We all want the Syrian administration, which is now on a knife-edge, to turn back from the edge of the cliff," Erdogan told a party meeting.

Turkey, after long courting Assad, has lost patience with its neighbor's failure to end an eight-month crackdown and implement promised democratic reforms.

2. I hope so. Assad getting overthrown could free two countries: Syria and Lebanon.
As bad as the Syrians have had it, the Lebanese are getting fucked over just as bad by having the Syrians stepping all over their country.

3. Won't bother me much.
Little Assad's troubles are creating some strange bedfellows.
