Mayor Quan Admits to Collusion of Multi-City OWS Evictions
Source: capitoloilette / daily kos

"Oakland Mayor Jean Quan, speaking in an interview with the BBC casually mentioned that she was on a conference call with leaders of 18 US cities shortly before a wave of raids broke up Occupy Wall Street encampments across the country. “I was recently on a conference call with 18 cities across the country who had the same situation. . . .”

18. Very good Ian David, but do we really think the D of J will prosecute the Mayors?
Prosecution (and head injuries) are for protestors, not Mayors.

17. People were complaining that the police did NOT share info with other cities.
Like Portland's peaceful removal of protesters.

Now when they DO talk to one another, it's clearly a conspiracy.

Sigh.

(In training for 3 days, sorry for the post-and-run.)

It was not an unmarred success. There were injuries to protestors, despite official proclamations to the contrary.

30. FEMA? Or Homeland Insecurity? Our local police chief apparently admitted that he had been
conversing with HS officials before our local SEAL team, I mean SWAT team, I mean TACTICAL SQUAD, I mean cops in military uniforms with military-style rifles and tactics arrested a bunch of anarchist squatters who had shown no intent and made no threats of violence.

The militarization of our police continues unabated.

Reminds me of what happened in a European country with a strong militaristic bent--oh about 70 or so years ago. But, hey, that's ancient history.

REC.

26. "nationwide effort by the 1% to destroy the First Amendment" I'm not so sure.
Its only logical that they would hold a meeting regarding an issue that they are all dealing with, now if of course there was a recording of the meeting that proved that they were trying to destroy the first amendment that claim might actually have legs.

31. You know, it was going through my head too
I was wondering why all these encampments were being uprooted.
It has to be coming from way up at the top. It's not just one mayor. Someone is orchestrating them to do this.
Could it be????? Nah? Maybe!

I wonder just how far up the chain of command it goes. Could it go all the way up to the top? Could it have been ordered by our Commander In Chief? Who knows? Could it have been done by the corporatists who actually pull the strings? Probably. Will we find out? Unlikely. Will I stop sounding like that dope Rummysfeld? For sure!

Just my ramblings.

so folks, what more do you need to show we are being lead into a fascist state?

collustion by city leaders and across the globe(http://www.guardian.co.uk/news/datablog/2011/oct/17/occupy-protests-world-list-map?INTCMP=SRCH)to limit rights of the citizens of the US and the world.

as I stated in another post, if there was any doubt what so ever as to a small group of corps/rich people who control things in the world, this should put it to rest.
