2. Which Democrats voted for repeal
http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2011/01/19/5879715-which-democrats-voted-for-repeal-

Three Democrats voted with all House Republicans on Wednesday to repeal the health care reform bill signed into law by Barack Obama last year.

Democratic Reps. Dan Boren of Oklahoma, Mike Ross of Arkansas, and Mike McIntyre of North Carolina joined GOP lawmakers in supporting the symbolic vote to repeal the law.

The three Democrats were among the 39 who voted against the legislation in November of 2009. Just 12 of those lawmakers are still serving in the House in the new Congress (six retired or left their seats to seek higher office; the remainder lost their re-election bids.)

Boren, Ross, and McIntyre were joined by Democratic Rep. Larry Kissell of North Carolina earlier this month in supporting a procedural measure that teed up the repeal vote. Kissell voted no on repeal today.

5. OK dixie
I really, really try not to give in to stereotypes, but why is it no surprise that the blue dogs strike again...I fear the blue dogs more than I do the GOP now.

6. McIntyre has an impossible position here in South Eastern NC.

He ran against Pantano (the guy that shot the 2 unarmed Iraq men) and McIntyre won by a few points, but what McIntyre had to promise to win is ridiculous. There have been some progressive groups that have been trying to get rid of mcIntyre but when he had to run against Pantano they held their nose & voted for him. Any one or any thing is better that Pantano, he is VERY scary! We have a Hate radio station that runs horrible threatening shows all day & night. The have taken over everything in the area and it is so sickening. We have no normal radio here at all anymore. All the local governments and school boards have been taken over by some real crazies. I have never seen anything like it.

Pantano disgusts me. I'm in Wake County where it's gotten really ugly; I can only imagine how bad it is where you are.
