Monsters of this magnitude are notorious for taking the coward's way out. Either he eats a bullet, swallows some pills, or drives off a cliff. I just hope he's not so much of a coward that he takes someone else with him. It's also a huge possibility that a parent of one of his victims or the victim himself goes Ellie Nesler on him. I for one wouldn't grieve.

The guy is almost 70 years old. Every time I turn on the radio or TV it seems like the number of victims goes up. I think the last number I heard was 20. Does anyone here believe that's all? I'd bet my life savings that there are boys and men out there who are thinking to themselves they don't have to suffer the indignation of his abuse all over again by coming forward, and that their horror will finally die with this asshole.

Sure, I shower with boys. Maybe sometimes I touch their legs. But, it's NOT a sexual thing. Are you fucking kidding me?

Not a big Bob Costas fan... but after he took this guy apart, I might just rethink that.

Yep, my guess is this guy takes a dirt nap LONG before he ever goes on trial.

Good riddance.

For those who don't know, Ellie Nesler did what a lot of us say we'd do if our child was the object of a monster's sick attention: She shot him to death in open court with her sister's semi.

13. Remember the scene in Godfather II
Tom Hagen: When a plot against the Emperor failed... the plotters were always given a chance... to let their families keep their fortunes. Right?
Frank Pentangeli: Yeah, but only the rich guys, Tom. The little guys got knocked off and all their estates went to the Emperors. Unless they went home and killed themselves, then nothing happened. And the families... the families were taken care of.
Tom Hagen: That was a good break. A nice deal.
Frank Pentangeli: Yeah... They went home... and sat in a hot bath... opened up their veins... and bled to death... and sometimes they had a little party before they did it.

I wonder if Sandusky is a fan of The Godfather.

5. I think you're right
Watching and listening to interview with that mo fo gave me the creepiest and sickest feelings... Not only do I feel he is one of the most heinous and warped individuals among us - I'm even sicker that weak ass people around him did nothing. It is so beyond sad... The more I hear, the more I am completely disgusted with everyone involved. At first I thought Paterno might not have known everything... now we know he knew enough.... he could have called authorities... but he didn't.

Sick, sick SOB and shame on all those that surrounded him and did nothing!!

8. It's been a long time since I've heard the name
Ellie Nesler. :D

In my more tinfoil moments, I wouldn't be surprised if one of his cronies did him in.

10. No Sandusky, no trial..
No trial, no truth about the rest of the coverup, it will be forgotten.

Mission accomplished.

14. I'm betting a lot of his victims do too. But like I said before...
That bell ain't gettin' unrung.

His death will NOT make this go away. Penn State will forever be known as Pedo State.

If I could I'd take them all, from the former University President to the two up on perjury charges to McCoward to the janitor right into the middle of the yard at the most notorious prison in all the land, wearing t-shirts saying who they were and what they allowed to happen.

Maybe they could organize a touch football game. Or not.
