The Crusades were started largely to ship potential disruptors out of Europe.
Yup, and it makes me wonder if that isn't one of the operating principles behind getting a few hundred thousand young people out of the US via the military too.

Anyway, look what has happened while they have been shipped overseas to "protect our rights"... they have been dismantled.

Makes you think.

Didn't they get redeployed elsewhere, like Afghanistan and Somalia?

4. We have no troops in Somalia...
...most Iraqi troops are returning to the US for retraining; not going straight to Afghanistan or other theaters.

3. What exactly did they bring back?
Men and women who have suffered trauma...some missing limbs, others effected psychologically...in clearer terms those that are returning are not the same as they were when they left!

8. Kids that volunteer for the service tend not to be the protesting type.
They're fine with "protecting freedom" provided someone with a fancy uniform tells them what to shoot at.
