Mom irate over Facebook bullying hits child, instructs daughter to fight

An Orlando woman who said she was upset about her daughter being bullied on Facebook went into her child's middle school and hit a student before telling her daughter to fight, according to authorities.

Leslie Thomas, 30, was arrested on five charges, including child abuse and battery.

According to an arrest report, Thomas went into Lockhart Middle School on Tuesday morning and hit a student near the cafeteria.

The student told authorities that Thomas then instructed her daughter to fight her, the arrest report said. Once the fight started, Thomas prevented others from stopping it, and she struck another child, the report stated.
