...unless Current buys the rights to the program (currently held by BBC/Discovery Channel), which would probably come with an exclusion period for the near future.

I'm sure it will come out on BluRay/DVD, eventually. Not sure what the release time is for documentaries, though. Might be a few months or so. I do know they make a big chunk of cash on releases, so it shouldn't be too long.
