Hu disses Bush in toast
Here is a part of President's official toast:

Hu said that relations between the two countries have greatly improved since President Obama has been in office. "In the past two years since President Obama has taken office, our relations have made tremendous headway," he said.

as reported at Fox news blog: http://gretawire.blogs.foxnews.com/what-do-you-make-of-the-toast-check-out-the-blue-print-below-slap-at-bush-43-or-just-cordial-toast/

4. I suspect it was a dis aimed at the Cheney Cabal too.

Lynn Cheney was completely gung ho about war with China if Gary Hart's story is to be believed.

http://www.theatlantic.com/technology/archive/2007/07/gary-hart-lynne-cheney-and-war-with-china/7644/

At the first meeting, one Republican woman on the commission said that the overwhelming threat was from China. Sooner or later the U.S. would end up in a military showdown with the Chinese Communists. There was no avoiding it, and we would only make ourselves weaker by waiting. No one else spoke up in support.

The same thing happened at the second meeting -- discussion from other commissioners about terrorism, nuclear proliferation, anarchy of failed states, etc, and then this one woman warning about the looming Chinese menace. And the third meeting too. Perhaps more.

Finally, in frustration, this woman left the commission.
"Her name was Lynne Cheney," Hart said. "I am convinced that if it had not been for 9/11, we would be in a military showdown with China today."

6. YAY! So relations have improved with the country...
that is making cheap shit and making it impossible for Americans to get decent jobs?

Or is it just the country that jails political dissidents and has tibet under its thumb?

Color me unimpressed that relations have improved with those fuckfaces.

9. No diss intended to Bush, just being polite. Last year relations were shit
Between China and the USA< worse they've been in a long time. However, arguing doesn't mean there's no headway. At least you're talking.
