Randi Rhodes was SO RUDE to pro-OWS callers today

I'm reminded why I rarely listen to her show although I agree with most of her positions. I doubt BillO himself could have done shout-down style "debate" any better (or worse.) There was one woman in particular who called and was very polite about what she thought OWS was accomplishing by today's actions but she was never allowed to finish a sentence without Randi screaming some straw man at her.

I was wondering if anybody else had the same reaction - I was doing a very messy project with gloves on and everything but I ripped them off, went into the other room and turned it off. WIth BillO and the other ranters I find it almost amusing but I can't stand to listen to MY views being presented in that way! Ugh! She's horrible.

Although she might be on local LA radio, I haven't heard from her since the AAR demise. Even back then I couldn't take her after about a year. She was 'off' at least one time a week. Wouldn't listen to her callers point, had her mind made up a half sentance in. At that point I turned her off.

she is a bit strident at the beginning, talking about voting in those that can make changes, talking about lobbyists and citizens united too,
fast forward to where she talked to the woman about smoke bomb(tear gas canister, Randi's talking about stage two and focusing the energy toward the state legislatures
and getting corporate money out of elections, next caller brought up the civil rights movement and boycotts, not shutting down subways and and buses thus pissing off those
in the 99% that still have to go to work.
I've heard worse from Randi, much a few years ago but both women were very strident in their views and it was a fair debate...
That's fine, her argument about fighting the police and turning the populace against the movement is very valid, I don't know where its going but
keeping pressure on the 1% is the main goal, the 1% have insulated themselves for years from the population in general so how do you affect them?

In fact I remember when she was off ARR there was a lot of support for her here but now, not so much.
