Trent Franks: Sarah Palin is committed to protecting innocent life.
A number of Republicans have come to the defense of Sarah Palin for her use of revolutionary imagery since the shooting in Tucson on Saturday, but Rep. Trent Franks (R-Ariz.) took it an extra step on Tuesday.

“If every person in the world was like Sarah Palin, there probably wouldn’t even be need for government because no one would be in danger of any kind,” Franks said in a phone conversation with POLITICO. “If every person were like Sarah Palin, this world would be a peaceful, beautiful world to live in.”

The congressman, who will attend the prayer service for Rep. Gabrielle Giffords on Wednesday, said that the tragedy Saturday had nothing to do with guns, rhetoric, immigration issues, political discourse or Palin.

3. Hmm, she's pro-life by making Bristol continue with her pregnancy. That should be enough.
I suppose that protecting those zygotes means you value life VERY much no matter what kind of trash you talk about your political rivals including using gun metaphors, right? :sarcasm:

14. it was late, i was too lazy to check the facts
but Sarah Palin is Bristol's mother, and at the time Bristol was still a minor, but I don't see why Sarah shouldn't have had a role in Bristol's decision. Anyway, Reuters reported in 2008: "Bristol Palin made the decision on her own to keep the baby" and that the Palin family gave Bristol "unconditional love and support." I know, even on DU some things said about conservatives are just trash talk.

7. To Palin and her ilk, lives are only innocent at the fetal stage. Once the baby is actually born...

all bets are off...

9. Yah. I think that there was a television program with footage of her killing a wild animal.

The animal must have been guilty of some heinous crime.
