McDonalds drops egg supplier (animal cruelty)

The question is: Why did it take an undercover operation by a n animal rights group to make this happen? Why don't these big money-making corporations know
about their suppliers? Pass this on to your friends and family members who may be in the dark. Let them see the light. While McDonalds dropped this egg farm,
it exposes the truth about all of these fast food operations. They go where the cheapest goods are, no matter how horrible the conditions are for the animals.

The answer to this problem? Boycott these places for life. The so-called food will lead to an earlier death and why support these yucky people anyway?

Go local. Go organic free-range.

1. The answer: undercover operations bring about negative PR
That's all they care about.

2. I think it's pretty safe to assume that any factory farmed animal product isn't "cruelty free"
by a long stretch.

I think what we've seen in these types of exposes is the norm, not the exception.

I love how they gave the ABC investigative correspondent Brian Ross a tour -- no doubt AFTER they spent days cleaning up.

7. I read that the company fired the workers who were abusing the
animals, but I wonder why they aren't being arrested and charged with cruelty to animals. Losing their jobs isn't nearly justice for what they did. If they behaved that way to dogs or cats they would be in jail.

By the way, many years ago a family member of mine became a vegan because of a visit to one of those egg factories. He actually threw up within minutes of seeing what was going on. Those egg "factories" are hellish nightmares. I'm glad I'm a vegan.

10. I've personally raided battery farms. People don't want to care about where their eggs come from.
Just fucking birds.

Bless you Mercy for Animals, once again. Doing it right, doing it well.

Until all the cages are empty.
