Bill O’Reilly Calls Out Rick Perry For ‘Lazy’ Ad: ‘Was That A Fair Ad?’

SNIP

“So he really wasn’t talking about the folks, he was talking about getting investment to come to the USA,” O’Reilly concluded, demolishing the entire premise of the ad.

1. I just read a headline at Yahoo news that said: Perry defends 'lazy' ad, calls Obama a socialist
Rick Perry: Stupidest man alive.

2. Besides taking Obama's words out of context ....
Edited on Fri Nov-18-11 10:58 PM by Tx4obama

Perry told a huge LIE

Excerpt:

SNIP

“Yeah it’s a fair ad absolutely,” Perry said on “The O’Reilly Factor” Friday evening. “This president’s traveled around the country making excuses for America, apologizing for America, saying that America is not an exemplary country, and then he gets on TV and talks about that Americans are lazy, that they’ve lost their ambition, that they’ve lost their imagination.”

Note: Perry: "... that they’ve lost their ambition, that they’ve lost their imagination ..."
Obama did NOT say anything about 'ambition' and 'imagination' - he did not even use those words!
Liar liar Pants on Fire!!! :)

3. Karl Rove hates Rick Perry
So Roger Ailes hates Rick Perry so Bill O'Reilly hates Rick Perry. Fuck it! We'll do it live!

4. In a crowd of devious ads, this one stood out.
The ads on local television, for everything from abolishing state income tax to bashing our one Dem senator, seem particularly odious this year. But this ad was even worse. Its pretty bad when the likes of O'Lielly feels compelled to correct something like this.

6. I have a feeling that Bill drew the short stick and was nominated to do the calling out ...

because yesterday every time I flipped past FoxNews channel it seemed like that were running the out of context Perry ad all day long.

The damage was already done (against the dems/Obams),
and by Bill calling Perry out on the dishonesty of the ad only gave FoxNews a segment to point to in order to cover their ass.

Well, that's one way to look at it ;)

7. BillO knows Perry is swirling the drain so he has nothing to loose by taking a shot at him
It makes BillO appear more "fair and balanced" when in reality he's anything but. BillO occasionally took a shot at Bush also. He just does it on insignificant things to try and maintain appearances. That way when someone accuses him of being a shill for the GOP (which he is), he can point to those instances as 'proof' he isn't.
