3. On account of Howard, my imagination was inflamed by the

Account he offered of how way back in the 1830's, tax payers decided that various money matters were not being decided in a way that helped them.

So people formed a mob and went out and took the Customs House apart brick by brick.

We now live in a society where officials have far greater weaponry at their disposal than the citizens have at hand - so we citizens fear our government while the government doesn't fear us.

But the Occupy Movement is giving us hope again.
