Yes, we all have seen the beginning of the tape. Watch it to the end... The cops retreat... that is a crack... a little wider crack in the edifice of power. And if you cannot stand the police brutality skip the first few minutes.

The cops are offered a chance by the kids to retreat and THEY DO.

I was so glad to see the police back down at the end. The way that one cop kept shaking the spray cans was making me nervous.

The #Occupiers are savvy and realize that a day of pepper-spray discomfort is nothing compared to creating a world without those who pepper-spray. It is a minor nuisance. They are saying NO! and it is beautiful.

take your bandanna and sew a piece of plastic into it to stop the spray from getting through. Goggles need to fit tight. Use a bar of plain soap on the inside, rubbing the soap around the lens to lessen fogging. Maalox and water to treat. Do not panic. The pain will subside.

The way masses of students, almost all of them holding up their cell phones and cameras, slowly encroach on the cops, chanting in anger. You can see the cops start to become afraid, as they well should. No violence on the part of the students, just using their cameras.

Cops, at best, make up 2% of the population and they are acutely aware of that. And half of them are half-hearted about being fascists. Half of them will break and run.

1% versus 20% unemployment rate is not a winnable situation.

And many have not realized (yet) that a bad economy will put them into a steadily rising headwind.

154 million jobs @ 40/hours per week = 6.160 billion man-hours.

6.160 million man-hours / 36/hours per week = 171 million jobs.

It's not that hard to figure it out.
