16. Must have been a lucky bullet |
|
A while back, I heard a story about a young Venezuelan guy who was shot while selling lottery tickets. The bullet went right through his neck, missed every important artery and vein, missed his spinal chord, and his vocal chords. He spent a month in the hospital and walked out with a scar, and that was it. These are called "lucky bullets".

It's all pretty amazing given the complexities of the brain and injuries and trauma.

7. By contrast, after thirty one years of never receiving a bullet through the brain, it took BlueIris |

twenty minutes to get out of bed this morning.

8. I am glad she was able to view such a beautiful place |
|
Earlier reports said that she looked toward the Catalina Mountains there in Southern Arizona. Really pretty place.

13. Which is the more incredible Human accomplishment: |
|
a) that her husband can be propelled into Earth orbit at 17,500 miles per hour and return safely, or
b) that she can not only survive a bullet through the brain, but stand, look out a window, give a neck rub?
