A few years ago I visited Valley Forge in Pennsylvania.
I was in Philly for and EMT conference and we decided to take a drive out there to check out some history. Very interesting place.

Last night I was downtown and walked by OWS Anchorage and was reminded of that visit to Valley Forge. It has been a brutally cold start to winter up here and these people are still there. All day, all night putting their beliefs before their own comfort. Amazing and inspiring.

I am heading downtown again and will stop in to see if they need anything and talk with them.

OWS. I will try and come up when I can. It's so dangerous to drive to Anchorage from down here because we had hurricane winds twice now and you risk blowing car and all into the inlet. :(

I wish you could know how cold that is and how wonderful these people are. Put your head in a freezer for a couple of hours. That's how cold it is.

PS Dave, if we can send stuff from the Kenai and there's some place to send it I will see what I can do. HUGS, honey!

6. Just came on from the cold. It was chilly but spirits were good.
Blue in AK was there and people from the Alaskans for Peace and Justice. Had a really good conversation with a couple passerby people. Lots of honks and thumbs up.

Stay warm.

Dave

2. I have also been struck by the many similarities to the American Revolution.
The people who are out in the weather and being beaten by cops are true patriots.

3. Does Anchorage also have
... local farmers jacking up the prices for food and firing and corrupt commisaries collecting huge kickbacks for providing spoiled and corrupt provisions to the troops?
