Thought I would pass along some useful sites/plugins (feel free to add)
Photobucket uploader for firefox. Right click a photo and add it right to your photobucket account, and then get the direct link.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/photobucket-uploader/

Public Intelligence - lots of documents here that govt has tried time and again to get removed:
http://publicintelligence.net/

USNPL - links to all of the papers and news stations by state:
http://www.usnpl.com/

Courthouse News Service - interesting news
http://www.courthousenews.com/

Ghostery - Ghostery sees the invisible web - tags, web bugs, pixels and beacons. Ghostery tracks the trackers and gives you a roll-call of the ad networks, behavioral data providers, web publishers, and other companies interested in your activity.

Using the :site feature at google, sample search - occupy wall street site:.gov will search all .gov sites for that phrase
www.google.com/

Give away of the day - once a day you can download a program (and review it or read the reviews) for free (full version). Changes at about 3am EST each day.

Old radio programs online for free:
http://www.radiolovers.com/

Free old books for Kindle, PDF, etc formats - tons of really good ones:
http://www.archive.org/details/americana

one of my favorite books on there was written just before the civil war started, amazing travel journal:

6. Archive.org has free audio, too.
It's Heaven on Earth for Grateful Dead fans. They have a whole archive of concert recordings, some of which you can download.

10. Does anyone know ....
Edited on Sun Nov-20-11 06:16 PM by Tx4obama

is there an add-on that you can add to the Firefox URL toolbar that is like a 'button' that can be clicked on that would automatically copy the URL from the URL text box?

I copy and paste URLs several times a day and have to highlight them each time is a pain in the butt.

Thanks in advance for any help :)

You know the Bush Admin went on a court packing spree, right?

here is a reference tool, easy to use, to find out about any Judge.
