6. Here's a good place to start:
http://www.historynet.com/the-bonus-army-war-in-washington.htm

I'm sure you know this, but posting it anyway. The Bonus Army veterans had little but rocks and bottles, but were busted up by Douglas MacArthur and his goons.

7. I'm no historian, but the trend against #Occupy is clear, and if we need to call BULLSHIT
it would be extremely handy to have a ready-made list of gotchas.

I honor and respect those with history skills. Please help us to avoid having the authorities repeating it upon us!

11. It's not literally the same
Edited on Sun Nov-20-11 10:05 PM by XemaSab
but I am reminded the people in the Superdome during Katrina.

According to teh Wikipedia, "As of August 31, there had been three deaths in the Superdome: two elderly medical patients and a man who is believed to have committed suicide by jumping from the upper level seats. There were also unconfirmed reports of rape, vandalism, violent assaults, crack dealing/drug abuse, and gang activity inside the Superdome. On September 11, New Orleans Police Superintendent Eddie Compass reported there were 'no confirmed reports of any type of sexual assault.'"

You make these people sound like a bunch of apes and the rest of the country is less likely to show sympathy for them.
