When the only steady employment is in the military it doesn't make any difference if we are forcing people into the military either by threat of imprisonment or economic ruin does it? Its the same result.

Occupy is going to make a big difference. I think it already has made a big difference.

Corporations are either going to have to figure out how they can provide well paying non-military jobs or they are going to have worse problems than this on their hands. Their choice.

Best to just keep the pressure on. That will do it. Might take a little while? We didn't stop the Vietnam war in two months either.

1. We have to get away from
our corporate based army and back to a civilian based army.

2. Gotta wonder how much a "defense-only" force would save us.
Probably have a budget surplus beginning at year one and no national debt within two decades.

In the meantime, we have a military that works directly in the interest of large, multi-national corporations... as they pay less in taxes than a minimum wage worker.

3. An Interesting Way To Put It, Sir: People Are, In Effect, Being Conscripted To Make the Rich Richer
By being put out of work, foreclosed on, made to forgo raises, people are being pauperized in order to see to it that the wealthy continue to be so, and become even more so. and this is being done to them without their consent by force majure. Further, it is being done in numbers comparable to rates of military conscription in a world war of the past.
