super-committee nothing but a super-shakedown |

anyone know how much in campaign contributions the members of the super-committee raked in?
i'm sure it was tons, over and above what those members typically rake in, and over and above what non-super-committee members normally rake in.
all to do nothing.
don't get me wrong, i'm sure any deal that could get through this congress at this time would truly suck, so i'm somewhat happy that the decision will get kicked down the road to a time when a can hope that the political landscape will be a bit better for us.
but this do-nothing result could have been had with far less drama and far less corruption if the teabaggers would have just raised the debt ceiling limit without this stupid pretense of a solution.
