Hmm interesting new narrative on the MSM |
|
the failure of the Super committee is the failure of OWS to send a message....
Interesting way to try to discredit OWS.
It's up there with they have no message, a new flavor of it.

5. Yeah, they put in a bunch of conservative Democrats they thought |
|
they could steamroll into gutting social security and Medicare. I have revised my low opinion of those conservatives. They must have done something right to get that horrible committee to stalemate.

So they are getting what they want.

and I have been hanging around close to OWS.
To be more exact SOME in OWS want it, but you, or I or anybody else can't accurately say they do... unless a general assembly reached consensus and I missed that one. If I did, please send me a link,

6. Nonsense. The Super committee and OWS have nothing |
|
to do with each other. Anyone who thought that committee was actually going to reach and agreement is smoking something. The real agreement that was made is the fallback agreement. That was always the agreement that was expected.

7. So now we can expect 50% cuts to the MIC and 50% not to be SSI or Medi(anything) right? |

11. If you look at the fallback cuts, you'll see that is not the case. |
|
Now, all that may be changed, but the fallback position was designed to protect SSI and Medicaid. Cuts to Medicare are limited to a maximum of 2% and can only be made to payments for services. All that can be changed by Congress, but Congress can change anything it wants to change. The next Congress is the one to watch out for. If we fail to retake the House and lose the majority in the Senate, things are going to go from bad to worse very quickly.

|
THIS IS WHAT THE MSN, SPECIFICALLY MSNNC is floating this morning.
Why is that?
You have that much trouble understand how the media uses their microphone to try to discredit OWS? They have tried literally everything.

13. OWS doesn't exist to tell the supercommittee what to do.... |
|
this is utter hubris on the part of M$MBC. There is enormous corruption in both medicare and particularly the defense industry. Enormous amounts of money are funneled to defense contractors and the pharmeceutical industry, all in the name of the people.
