i cannot believe that ANYONE bought that whole 'compassionate conservative' BS a few years back....

my boyfriend works at a small company...most everyone there is conservative religious types...today in the meeting they were talking about having some customers do some video testimonials for the website, someone mentioned that they have to be careful cause since they have state contracts and they cant appear to have any favoritism kinda stuff going on (guess the state hasnt caught on to the whole K street thing yet but I digress lol) Anyway, the boss mentioned that he even took cookies to the state office he deals with and they just left them outside for the homeless people to eat because they couldnt take them...then he says 'and I'm not about to be feeding the homeless on purpose hahahaha' and another guy chimes in 'yeah me neither hahaha'

my boyfriend just looked around and said "really?" but dont you just wanna ask of their god is the one that gave them that cold ass heart?

couple days ago my boyfriend was out to lunch with a couple of the guys and they had coke products they were drinking and my bf mentioned about many horrible things coke does, child labor abuses being one of them, and they guys start laughing and slurpin on the coke and saying 'oh yeah this is some tasty child labor here'

and me...texting with a friend in another state yesterday, I mentioned something about OWS (we've never talked politics before) and I said "this really isnt america anymore" and he replies "yeah cause that N_____ president is trying to turn us into a socialist country!" :wow:

I spend alot of time telling myself that most righties are that way because they have been duped, lied to, bait n switched etc...its not really their fault.......but damn if there arent plenty who really are that fucked up in the head....:crazy: I dont get how some people can be so filled with hate and ignorance when it comes to other people and other situations....but you can bet your sweet ass they will all be in church on sunday!! :wtf:

they call it "respect for each other's toys".

they have to ask their siblings to play with their toys. eventually the parents teach the sibling with the desired toy to charge for the privilege (i shit you not).

People are so self occupied with themselves, that they don't think about others. Really, they don't. Stupid things come out of people's mouths all the time, and to them, it's just words, nothing is meant by them. It's a form of verbal diarrhea. How many say they are going to kill someone? If they really meant it, we would be drowning in dead bodies. The guys with the coke, can't conceive of child labor, so it's a joke. Hell, there are tons of people out there who couldn't find Australia on a globe, even if you gave them tons of hints, like it is a continent.
